Platform Snacks

What we do

Platform Snacks is a veteran-owned mobile vending business serving Southern California. Owner Mahlon Driver runs a self-contained vending trailer that brings snacks and beverages directly to events, workplaces and underserved locations. The trailer travels to places where traditional food service is limited or unavailable, offering refreshments on site rather than from a fixed storefront. Platform Snacks operates by appointment.

What sets us apart

Platform Snacks pairs automated vending with a fully mobile, self-contained retail trailer. Unlike stationary machines, the trailer moves quickly to events, workplaces, remote areas and other spots where convenient food service is limited. That combination lets Driver carry a wide selection of snacks and drinks to locations other vendors do not reach.

Our story

Driver started Platform Snacks in August 2026 after more than 20 years in the Marine Corps and nearly 10 years as a federal employee, wanting to build something of his own. As a parent of active children who traveled often for sporting events, he kept landing at places where snacks and drinks were unavailable unless he packed a cooler. That gap led to the business, which also keeps him working outdoors and engaged with the communities he serves.
